This is the first conceptual drawing I ever did for Miscrits. The game ended up going in an altogether different direction, but I still think there might be something to be mined here.

Back in October we were working on creating avatars for Miscrits, Around this time I was also Masquerading around town as Mr. More Cowbell himself Gene Frenkle. So I decided to create this avatar just for kicks. Since It will never be in the game I thought I would show it off here.

Here is a preview of the new designs for Thundercracker and Baddaboon. They will be in the game when we open up Mount Gemma, hopefully by the end of the month.

Miscrits: Firebrawl and Baddaboon

Here's some game art for for Firebrawl and Baddaboon, two Miscrits who were changed from a fire element to a lightning element. These versions were never meant appear in the game. However for a short time period of time you could see this version of Firebrawl in the house or backyard. There has been some question surrounding why this happened. The reason is simple, a new Miscrit was given the name Firebrawl and the house avatar for the new Firebrawl was never loaded to the server.

My original concept sketch for a character I named Firebrawl. Eventually he would be redesigned as a lightning Miscrit and renamed Thundercracker. Thundercracker is a new Micrit who will be in the game hopefully later this month. The name Firebrawl would be given to another Miscrit.

Miscrits Rejects: Canabrix

This guy's fate hangs in the balance. Currently there are no plans to put him in the game. He may get a redesign or possibly cast into the graveyard of unused Miscrits.

Miscrits Rejects: Energee

I thought it would be fun to show some concept art for Miscrits that didn't quite make it into the game. This little guy was originally named Energee, then later renamed Wotteray. He would go though a few changes over the course of his short live existence and would eventually evolve (pardon the pun)into Hydroseal.

This little guy's name is Hermetalcrab. He is the second evolution of one of our starter Miscrits, Prawnja.

When I'm not doing fan art sketches, working on comics, or doing freelance illustration and design I work as a game design artist for Broken Bulb Studios. We just lunched a brand new Facebook title: "Miscrits" We've been working on this project for a while and I'm so exited the the game is finally out and I can share some of the work I've been doing.

I've been fortunate enough to have created tons of cool art for Miscrits, everything from world design, background paintings, avatars, props, advertising promotion etc., but one of the coolest things I had an opportunity to do was the Miscrits creature designs. So I thought I would share some of these designs with you.

I am only one of the artist on this project and my fellow Miscriteers have created some truly awesome and inspiring Miscrit designs themselves. Here's a little guy I designed named Steamguin. Early on when designing the Miscrits we would create both front and back views of the character. There are only a handful Miscrits that have this back view and it never made it into the game. so for what it's worth here is a rear look at Steamguin and his hindquarters...
