Halloween Memories: Captain Jack Sparrow Costume

Halloween Memories: Steve Irwin: The Crocodile Hunter

This is another costume that may have been ahead of it's time. I dressed as Steve Irwin back when his Discovery Chanel show first premiered and most people didn't make the connection. Of course years later after his tragic death everyone was the Crocodile Hunter for Halloween usually while incorporating a sting ray in some fashion or another.

Halloween Memories: Tusken Raider on Bantha Costume

Over the years I have worn a lot of Star Wars costumes, but this has to be my favorite costume of all time: a Tusken Raider riding a Bantha. It was a little difficult to trick or treat in but when it came to Halloween candy I made out like a bandit (or in this case a Tusken Raider)

MR. T Costume

Here's me as a kid dressed as Mr. T. (minus the muscles) I don't remember the exact year this was but I know the A team was on the air and I wanted nothing more than to kick some butt B.A. style!

Halloween Memories

It's October so it seems only natural that I do a Halloween theme on th blog. I already did a monster sires back in July so instead I thought I would share some of my own personal Halloween memories. My family has always been very big into Halloween. My parents would always put a lot of time and effort in creating costumes for me and my brother, some of which were pretty elaborate. I've tried to carry on that tradition and and do the same for my own kids. So for October I would like to share with you a few of our family's costumes from the past and some that are more recent. And since this is a sketch blog I'll also do a sketch of the character the costume is based on. Should be fun. It will be for me anyways.

Star Wars Halloween Memories

When I was a kid my parents made me this kick ass Tusken Raider riding a Bantha costume. Best costume ever! I think I even won a bike that year at a Halloween Costume contest. Thanks Mom and Dad for being so Awesome!
