Dr. Ludabell L. Ludlow is the proverbial mad Scientist whose grandiose dreams for total domination of Mystic Island are constantly being thwarted by Alex and his friends. Ludlow is selfish, mean, jealous, venal, conceited, power hungry and those are his good points.
